Paper Development Workshop  for CEE researchers

in conjunction with ACFA 2025

ABOUT

Starting 2022, Accounting in Europe organises annually two paper development workshops (PDW), of which one is intended to support researchers from Central and Eastern European countries to develop their manuscripts with a view of publication in the Journal.

We invite papers authored by CEE-based researchers that investigate policy-relevant topics in line with Accounting in Europe’s aim and scope to be submitted for the PDW. In 2025, the PDW for CEE researchers will be hosted by ACFA 2025.

Editors will select two papers to be discussed in the workshop that will be organized during the conference. Authors of selected manuscripts will be invited to submit their manuscript to Accounting in Europe. During the workshop authors will receive extensive feedback on the paper and will be invited to revise and resubmit the paper to the journal.

Please note that the ultimate acceptance for publication is conditional upon the revision of the paper according to the reviewers’ and editors’ feedback. Subject to satisfactory revision, the papers will be published in the Journal.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

The authors applying for the PDW should upload the paper through the ACFA 2025 registration system and should tick the PDW box in the section with publication options.
